• June - ISO 13485 Medical certification in Poland

After achieving the medical certification for the Willich facility (Germany), the plant located in Kwidzyn (Poland) has just been certified ISO 13485.

• April - LACROIX Electronique Tunisia EN 9100 certified

LACROIX Electronique has just achieved the AFAQ certification, in conformity with the EN9100 international standard, for its manufacturing activity of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies in the fields of Aerospace, Space and Defence.

The certification of the Tunisian site is a strategic step for LACROIX Electronique. It demonstrates that the quality inspection processes perfectly meet the Aerospace sector requirements (configuration management, control of special processes…).

Moreover, this certification enhances the link with our R&D and manufacturing entities located in France and allows the Tunisian site to be recognized as a quality lowcost relay for transfers of stabilized program.

• February - Lengthening components lead times

The production of electronic equipment is more and more disrupted by components shortage. In this particularly tricky context, LACROIX Electronique informs its customers of the growing difficulties in meeting the delivery lead times of non-planned orders in the short and medium term (4 months).
Always aiming at offering the best possible service to its customers, LACROIX Electronique has implemented several actions :

• In the very short term, reinforcing the Supply Department, in order to cope with the significant workload increase
• Setting up an internal Purchasing/Supplying alert system in order to improve our reactivity to suppliers
• Reviewing our internal procedure for non-planned orders management so as to give a realistic lead time more quickly
• Setting up securing strategies (finished products and components stocks) in close connection with customer need for flexibility and within the framework of a logistic agreement.

• January - PrehTronics GmbH becomes LACROIX Electronics GmbH

The integration of PrehTronics to LACROIX Electronique in 2008, now reaches a new stage with the change of name of PrehTronics GmbH, now becoming LACROIX Electronics GmbH. LACROIX Electronique thus reasserts its presence in Germany.
